Why not start with the parade from the town High Street at 12.15 when the Pipe bands lead the parade of the Rose Queen and her attendants, along with the Games Chieftain, to the field. Then you can enjoy the atmosphere of Highland Dancing, Bagpipe Playing, Sports events, and of course the Heavy Field Athletes ‘throwing the hammer’ and ‘tossing the caber’.
